EXTENSIVE TINT INFORMATION

Window tint is available in a variety of shades and colours ranging from dark tint to light smoke and a wide range of colours, for whichever preferences you have we will try our hardest to supply and apply the tint suited best to the highest professional level we offer to all of our customers.

The window film we use is made by a company called Solar Gard renown for their film quality and extensive warranty. We have decided to choose their film due to their extensive product range and shades as well as their warranty.

The non-reflective (NR) automotive window films are a time-tested favourite. This conventional line offers a subtler tint than the high performance films and includes the new Supreme series plus the existing lines: True Grey, Charcoal and Grey. NR films are perfect for cars with defroster-embedded diversity antenna systems, as well as cellular and GPS systems. Plus, for those not wanting tinted glass, but looking for the ultimate protection from harmful and destructive ultraviolet light, NR UV Clear offers 90% light transmittance and blocks 99% of ultraviolet! No matter which film you choose, rest assured quality performance.

Another range we believe in from is Solar Gard's High Performance (HP) window film. It is created using groundbreaking technology, by sputter- metallizing our HP window tints with durable, exotic metals – such as titanium, stainless steel, copper, gold, silver, inconel, chromium, aluminium and other alloys - we ensure that our Quantum, True Grey, Charcoal, Titanium and Bronze series will all exhibit sleek, colour tones that enhance any vehicle. .

The metallized colour is stable, the heat rejection performance is unbeatable and the product life of these films will last you as long as you own your car or truck. This product is supplied with a lifetime warranty if installed by Shades. This tint applied to your vehicle will cost slightly more but the result is definitely worth it

The final window tint we can supply and fit is Armorcoat which is a thick, optically clear barrier film that is retrofitted to the inside of windows to reinforce glass around-the-clock, helping to hold it safely in place upon impact should an attempted break-in . Armorcoat safety film is made from only the highest quality materials, such as tough, high tensile polyester and ultra-strong mounting adhesives – available in thickness ranging from 4 to 14 Mil and offered in clear and solar control versions.

Armorcoat has passed some of the most stringent government and consumer testing  to provide effective hurricane window protection, blast mitigation and overall window safety. Also popularly referred to as glass fragment retention, anti-shatter film and Mylar, Armorcoat is the preferred window protection product among car owners, car dealers and window tinting businesses.
